Little Big Pups has big aspirations to become the Midwest's trusted partner in adopting puppies online from certified breeders. When they first approached Dog Ear, we were sure to inquire about animal welfare and the certifications of these breeders before taking on the project. We were happy to hear that each breeder must achieve Canine Care certification from Purdue University to have their puppies listed on the site. Little Big Pups had a business plan in mind, but was starting from scratch when it came to the website. We provided hosting, maintenance, ecommerce capability, web design and development to get them started. They wanted a playful brand with bold colors, but put together enough to be taken seriously as a certified and humane solution for adopting puppies online. We worked with the two owners to create wireframe templates that led to the design you see today. We will continue to work with Little Big Pups as they work on getting more breeders in Michigan Canine Care Certified as well as start to list available litters when they become available.
